Between December 2001 and 2008, the projects and partnerships with Instituto EFORT were mentioned 198 times in different media vehicles, including: TV GLOBO, TV Futura, TV Cultura, REDE TV, Bandeirantes, cable TV channels, Gazeta Mercantil, Agora newspaper, Folha de São Paulo, Estado de São Paulo, Jornal O Norte, Revista Exame, Valor Econômico, Revista Caras, Revista Rede, local and international websites, neighborhood newspapers and technical journals.
In 2002, EFORT was awarded the prize for the best Social Inclusion Project from CIEE – Centro de Integração Empresa Escola.
In 2003, the Institute gained notability for its project for social inclusion in the Guia Exame de Cidadania e Responsabilidade Social with Furans Centrais Elétricas S.A.
In 2004, the partnership between Furnas Centrais Elétricas S. A. and Instituto EFORT was awarded the prize of Best Digital Inclusion Project for Disabled People by Exame magazine.
In 2005, Best Partnership Prize for Digital Inclusion awarded by Rede magazine.
In 2006, EFORT was indicated to represent disabled people at the São Paulo City Hall Commission on Human Rights and reappoint for the 2008-2012 period.
In 2007, EFORT was indicated as a member of the NGO Alliance Latin America and Caribean of the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan – USA.
In 2008, EFORT established a partnership with CompuCorps.org a high tech charity established in Canada for ITC actions.
In January 2009, the Institute gained notability for participating in the Campus Party event, sponsored by the Participation and Partnership Office.
